Refund Policy

At Taqweem Online Quran Academy, we want students and parents to feel confident when enrolling in our online Quran courses.

This Refund Policy explains when a refund, class credit or replacement lesson may be available.

1. Free Trial Classes

Free trial classes are provided without a course fee.

Because no tuition payment is required for the trial, free trial classes are not eligible for a cash refund.

Availability of free trial classes is subject to:

  • Teacher availability
  • Course availability
  • Suitable class timings
  • Accurate registration information

2. Refund Before Paid Classes Begin

A full refund may be requested when:

  • Payment has been completed
  • The request is submitted within 7 days of payment
  • The student has not attended any paid class
  • No paid teaching service has begun

Payment-processing or currency-conversion charges may be deducted where they are not recoverable by the academy and where permitted by applicable law.

3. Refund After Classes Begin

Once paid classes have started, course fees are generally non-refundable for:

  • Completed classes
  • Missed classes
  • Late cancellations
  • Student no-shows
  • A change of mind
  • Temporary student unavailability
  • Device or internet problems on the student’s side
  • Failure to practise or complete assigned work
  • Dissatisfaction caused by lack of attendance

However, genuine concerns will be reviewed fairly.

Depending on the circumstances, we may offer:

  • A replacement teacher
  • A class reschedule
  • Unused class credit
  • A plan extension
  • A partial refund for unused classes

4. Academy-Cancelled Classes

If a teacher or the academy cancels a class, we will normally offer:

  • A replacement class
  • An alternative teacher
  • Class credit
  • An extension to the student’s plan

A proportionate refund may be issued when:

  • The academy is unable to provide replacement classes
  • A suitable teacher cannot be arranged
  • The paid service cannot reasonably continue
  • A technical or administrative error prevents service delivery

5. Student Cancellations

Students should provide at least [6/12/24 hours] notice before cancelling or rescheduling a class.

Where sufficient notice is provided, the class may be rescheduled subject to availability.

A class may be treated as completed where:

  • The student does not attend
  • Notice is provided too late
  • The student joins significantly late
  • The student cannot attend because of a personal scheduling issue
  • The student’s electricity, internet or device is unavailable

Emergency cases may be reviewed individually.

6. Teacher Change Requests

A student may request a different teacher if:

  • The teaching style is not suitable
  • There is a language difficulty
  • The schedule is not working
  • A male or female teacher preference has changed
  • There is a genuine communication concern

We will first attempt to arrange a suitable replacement teacher.

A teacher-change request alone does not automatically qualify for a refund if the academy can continue providing the purchased service.

7. Subscription or Monthly Plan Cancellation

Students may request cancellation before the next billing period.

Cancellation will normally stop future charges but will not automatically refund the current billing period.

Students may continue using any remaining eligible classes until the end of the paid period, unless the account has been terminated for serious misconduct.

8. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments

If a customer is charged twice or an incorrect amount is collected, they should contact us as soon as possible.

After verification, we may:

  • Reverse the duplicate payment
  • Refund the overpaid amount
  • Apply the amount as credit, with the customer’s agreement

9. Promotional and Discounted Plans

Promotional, discounted or customised plans may have additional refund conditions.

Any special conditions should be communicated before payment.

Where no separate conditions are provided, this general Refund Policy will apply.

10. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email:

taqweemacademy313@gmail.com

Include:

  • Parent or student name
  • Registered email address
  • WhatsApp number
  • Course name
  • Payment date
  • Amount paid
  • Transaction reference
  • Reason for the request

Incomplete requests may take longer to review.

11. Refund Review Time

We aim to review refund requests within 5–7 business days.

Approved refunds are normally submitted to the original payment method.

After a refund has been processed, banks and payment providers may require additional time to return the funds.

12. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds may take approximately 7–14 business days to appear, depending on:

  • Bank processing
  • Payment provider
  • Original payment method
  • Customer’s country
  • Currency conversion

The academy cannot control delays caused by banks or payment processors after the refund has been submitted.

13. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers should contact the academy before opening a chargeback or payment dispute.

We will make a reasonable effort to investigate and resolve genuine concerns.

Fraudulent or misleading chargebacks may result in:

  • Suspension of classes
  • Account termination
  • Submission of attendance and payment records to the payment provider

14. Exceptional Circumstances

Refunds outside the normal policy may be considered in exceptional situations, including:

  • Serious medical emergencies
  • Extended service failure
  • Academy inability to deliver the purchased course
  • Other circumstances approved by academy management

Supporting information may be requested where appropriate.

15. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
