Tajweed is the set of rules that governs how each Arabic letter is pronounced when reciting the Quran, including where sounds are held, merged, hidden or stopped. This course takes you through those rules one by one with a qualified teacher who listens to your recitation live and corrects mistakes as you make them.
Whether you already read the Quran and want to remove errors, or you are starting Tajweed for the first time, lessons begin from your current level and move forward at a pace that suits you.
Tajweed cannot be learned properly from a book or a video alone, because most mistakes are in sound, not in theory. A teacher has to hear you recite to catch them. In one-to-one classes your teacher listens every session and corrects pronunciation immediately, before an error becomes a habit.
